Three Pieces in Time-

ONE

In the insistence of the moment
My mind was stopped
By the emptiness

Insecurity griped me
And on impulse,
I drew the face of time

TWO

In the rude awakening
I was shocked at what I found
And conflicts raged within my soul

At last the calmness came
And in this peace I sit
In this rude awakening.

THREE

My mind moves
From terrors past, unseen
To agonies yet unheard.
And in the interim,
a movement, a silence stands
an absence of time that is the glean of time
And keeps death’s still vigil
Over the finite infinity that is man.
